My cookbook: "Tehran to New York"

On the Norouz day of 2020 spring, I finally published my book. The manuscript is titled: "Tehran to New York: A culinary bridge between Persian and Western cultures" and aims at presenting a unique blend of classic and contemporary Persian recipes, as well as samples of Western-style cuisine, offered in a Persian context. It is important to build bridges between cultures, and not walls. This book aims at constructing a bridge between the Persian and Western cultures. The book may be ordered here: https://www.amazon.com/Tehran-New-York-culinary-cultures-ebook/dp/B0861H47GS/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=tehran+to+new+york&qid=1584810930&sr=8-1

Pizza burger

I once made this burger for a friend who hate Mayonnaise! Yes! you heard it right! There are folks out there who hate mayo! The final Pizza burger was great. So great that I now often make it when I have leftover pizza sauce.

Ingredients:
2 TBSP pizza sauce
2.65 Oz (~75 gr) extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated or chopped
4 large slices of high quality bread
14.1 Oz (~400 gr) 80/20 ground beef
2 TBSP caramelized onions
Burger condiments of choice

We'll cook the burger "Diner Style!" To make two pizza burgers, shape four equal patties from the beef. Spread each patty to a very thin disk, season with salt and pepper, and cook in a smoking hot pan. Flip the burgers and put 1 TBSP of caramelized onions and a quarter of the cheese on one of the patties. Cook the other side of the patties. Lay the other meat patty (the one with no cheese) on the one with cheese and onion mixture.
In the meantime, spread one of the bread slices with half the pizza sauce and sprinkle with a quarter of the cheese. Toast in a hot oven for 10 minutes. Put the patty on the bread without the sauce. Put the bread with cheese on top of the meat. Repeat the process for the other burger.
